¿Cuál es la diferencia entre la Iglesia de Dios (Séptimo Día) y la Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia?
La edad de las dos organizaciones está acerca del mismo — empiezan a mitad de 1800 –Y la historia de las Dos se entrelaza un poco.
Aquí están las enseñanzas bíblicas que tenemos en común con los Adventistas del Septimo Dia .
Ambos de nosotros creen eso:
*La Biblia entera, Viejo y los Nuevos testamento, son la Palabra de Dios y esa salvación está por la gracia de Dios por la fe en Jesucristo.
*Eso todos los Diez Mandamientos son los estándares para personas de Dios hoy.
*Eso no hay conocimiento para humanos entre la muerte y la resurrección.
*Ese Jesucristo pronto volverá físicamente a la tierra.
*Que el malvado finalmente será aniquilado, no sufre el tormento eterno en el infierno.
La causa básica de nuestras diferencias es el papel y las escrituras de Elena G. de White. La sra. White fue uno de los fundadores de la Iglesia ASD y es considerado por ellos como una profetisa verdadera. Reconocemos que ella enseñó mucha verdad, pero creemos que fue mezclado también con mucho error. Nosotros no consideramos ninguna escritura de White, como el “Espiritu de Profecia” . Esto es la diferencia fundamental entre las dos iglesias.
Más allá de esta diferencia básica, aquí están algunas enseñanzas particulares de la Iglesia de Dios (Séptimo Día) no aprobado por la Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia:
Rechazamos algún significado especial en la profecía de Biblia al año 1844. Creemos que la provisión para la salvación fue completada cuando Jesús se murió, subió del muerto, y volvió al cielo — no en 1844. Por lo tanto, las enseñanzas de la IASD acerca de la purificación del santuario y el juicio investigativo son inválidas.
Creemos que la tierra será habitada por los santos durante el reinado 1,000 años de Cristo.
Creemos que la sepultura de Cristo fue 3 días y 3 noches, de la miércoles por la tarde hasta tarde de sábado.
Nosotros no practicamos las celebraciones comunes de Navidad y Pascua.

“What’s the difference between the Church of God (Seventh Day) and the Seventh-day Adventists?”
The age of the two organizations is about the same — both begin in the mid-1800’s — and the history of the two is a bit entwined.
Here are the biblical teachings we have in common with Seventh-day Adventist Christians. Both of us believe that:
*The whole Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God and that salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
*That all the Ten Commandments are standards for God’s people today.
*That there is no consciousness for humans between death and resurrection.
*That Jesus Christ will soon return physically to the earth.
*That the wicked will finally be annihilated, not suffer eternal torment in hell.
The basic cause of our differences is the role and writings of Ellen G. White. Mrs. White was one of the founders of the SDA Church and is regarded by them as a true prophetess. We recognize that she taught a lot of truth, but we believe it was also mixed with much error. We consider neither Mrs. White nor her writings to be an expression of the “Spirit of Prophecy.” This is the fundamental difference between the two churches.
Beyond this basic difference, here are some particular teachings of the Church of God (Seventh Day) not approved by Seventh-day Adventists:
We reject any special significance in Bible prophecy to the year 1844. We believe the provision for salvation was completed when Jesus died, rose from the dead, and returned to heaven — not in 1844. Therefore, SDA teachings about the cleansing of the sanctuary and the investigative judgment are invalid.
We believe that the earth will be inhabited by the saints — not desolate — during the 1,000-year reign of Christ.
We believe the entombment of Christ was 3 days and 3 nights, from Wednesday evening until Sabbath evening.
We do not practice the common celebrations of Christmas and Easter.
We do not emphasize the importance of any writings other than the Bible.
